I tried Nellie's Washing Soda when I found it on clearance at Sharper Image last year. It worked just like my Charlie's. It made my clothes smell the same so if it isn't Charlie's repackaged, it's almost identicle. The powder itself had the same smell and it left my clothes smelling the same. The only reason I bought it is because it was so cheap on clearance. I won't be buying it again because Charlie's is cheaper. I may try the dishwasher powder though.

I recently discovered the Nellie's laundry products and have to say that I love them. I have tried Charlie's soap and Nellie's and although the two are almost identical (IMO) I find that the Nellie's laundry soda actually leaves my clothes softer and without the faint solvent smell that I get from the Charlie's soap.
Has anyone else tried the Nellie's laundry soda or laundry nuggets? If so, what did you like or dislike about it?

I was searching some information re: Nellie's today and found this article.

If Nellie's is not Charlie's, as Taylor states above, then it must be made by them.

Yes, it is an excellent product! Just started using and there is a noticeable difference in the brightness, texture of all the laundry. I do not believe it Charlie's repackaged, I have used Charlie's and it did not achieve the same results.
