Soapstone in Chicago

We are well-into our kitchen reno, cabinets are ordered...
And now I need to find my soapstone pronto! My GC isn't a huge fan, but I am really, really hoping for it on my perimeter...so I must start my search!
I've searched GW for Chicago area soapstone suppliers, but can't find anything right now. I'm in the western suburbs, and I know there's a place called Hummingbird nearby that specializes in SS, but I've heard very mixed things about them.
Any other Chicago-area, western suburbs specifically, that have good soapstone selections?
And while we are on that subjuct, I'm also looking for a good, dark, hard SS. I liked the noire sample I for from Dorado last year, but I've seen the problems with it here...so I'm guessing I'd better keep searching...
I'm also looking for a gorgeous marble slab for my island. I just put honed marble counters in my new master bath, and i love them!

I'm not sure if you saw this older thread already, but in case you didn't, I'm linking it. It provides a couple of names.

Here is a link that might be useful: Thread called soapstone dealers in chicago area
