i have a lazy susan with the old style door that pushes in next to my gas stove now. the new super susans have the hinged door which i am reading on this site is an issue next to the stove. what other solutions are there? the wall that my gas stove is on has a 18" cab to the left and the lazy susan to the right. not a lot of space there to play with. so from my stove to the wall on the right i have 36".
i have not made any decisions on cabinets or counters either, so any advice regarding that is appreciated. we live in a very average neighborhood with oak builder grade cabs & laminate counters so while i need to redo my kitchen, i don't want to go overboard on top quality items. it would be great to keep the cabs,install and counters under 15k but not sure if it doable.
