| I recently bought some new chairs that I loved for our new kitchen table. We received them the other day and they are beautiful, but too big for the space/table IMHO. I could kick myself. I am trying to post them on Craigslist and am willing to take a loss- but not too horrible. To return them there is a 30% re-stocking fee and return shipping and we're not willing to go there. I may end up stuck with these chairs- any ideas on how to make the best of it?
I'll start out with a few photos and will take some more so I can add (will include kitchen and den spaces). |

| Sorry, no ideas here, but I can see why you purchased them. They are gorgeous. I love that style of chair. |

| If you haven't already done so, I suggest you post this on the "Discussions" side of the Kitchens Forum. This is the "Gallery" where people usually post threads for the Finished Kitchen Blog or similar, usually not for discussions. The Discussions side is also much busier! I also suggest you check out the "Read Me" thread for newcomers to Kitchens (or old-timers that need more information on something!) Again, see the "Read Me" thread for more information (linked below). Scroll down to the post w/the subject "Getting Emails Sent To You...3-step Process" |

| Thanks- you're right that I was not getting an email telling me there were any responses. Thought I'd check and was surprised! I'll move this to discussions after I figure out how to post photos there. BTW, I removed the 2 arm chairs (wonder if I can use them in a different room? They are comfy and pretty but not sure if it would look odd in a non-dining area). It looks a bit less cluttered but still the 4 chairs overwhelm the small table and space I think. I added a terracotta vase with some sunflowers and I don't think that was the right look (looks like I just need add a crow for the full effect). |
