Dark Stained Doors with White Trim - okay?

Hi,

We are building a tudor home. We are considering all interior doors to be dark stained with all trim (baseboards, around the doors, etc.) to be painted white.

Do you think this will look okay OR should the doors match the trim?

Does anyone have pictures? I cannot find any interior dark doors with white trim and I am having a hard time picturing it.

Here's a link to a previous thread about this same thing. It has some pics too. My front door is stained with white trim. I think it would look fine.

My front door is stained and all interior trim is a creamy white.....wish I had all my doors a brownish black!! A wonderful blog named CotedeTexas recommends painting all interior doors matte black for more interest.
Here is a pic of my front doors ( complete with vac cleaner cord !!)

If you hadn't said your home is an English Tudor style, then I'd have said that stained doors with white trim would work. I've seen that done IRL and it looks very nice.

But IMHO, an English Tudor home needs dark trim and dark doors to carry off the Tudor look.

I have workmen here today so I can't take pictures but here are a couple before and after we painted. We replaced all flat panel doors and trim.
