A teenager knocked on the wrong door. Now he’s dead
I would help you and post the article, but do we really need another gun/shooting thread? Really? UGH!
I'll paste what I want then.
The homeowner, 42-year-old Jeffrey Lovell, was arrested and charged with murder, according to the Chicopee Police Department.
And add, and he'll not get away with it. So what is it you wanted to say?
No message, just news. Charging Mr Lovell with murder doesn't bring the teenager back to life
Here's another

Getting the teenager not to drink and make the mistake can't happen either. Why was an underage person drinking?!!! There is so much wrong. Do we really have to post this type of junk daily?
You don't have to reply if you don't like the subject. Sad story. I would guess that most teenagers have had alcohol at some point.
Please don't misunderstand, my motivation wasn't to troll or hook anyone's thoughts to comment on. I'll not post again in this thread, other can discuss or ignore it and let it sink out of sight, as they choose.
I agree that normal teenagers experiment with alcohol, drugs, and anything else they can get their hands on. Their upbringing and common sense should stop them short of self-destruction but it doesn't always. Getting shot at isn't one of the things anyone imagines needs to be considered.
"Getting the teenager not to drink and make the mistake can't happen either. Why was an underage person drinking?!!"
Come on, let's not blame the victim here. It's like saying a rape victim dressed so she was asking to be raped.
No one was doing that maddielee. The whole thing is bad. Horrible. So many decisions could've been made differently and nothing will change it was the only point. Said in the same post that you cherry picked it out of.
Rob, I see no where that I 'cherry picked' your post. ( Except the part that you called the original post junk...)

My apologies!
I'll rephrase: The overall tone I'm going for is, why are we discussing this type of news report ad nauseum? It won't change anything.
It's ok.
These reports actually do need to be shared.
At some point someone, somewhere, will have the gumption to admit the fact that too many guns are in the hands of people that should not have them. And no, I am not saying that guns need to be collected. I am hoping that stricker regulations can be put into effect for future gun sales.
