I'll Show You Mine If You Show Me Yours - Wed 5/9
Annie Deighnaugh
Yesterday we went to an old home that has been turned into a show house for the month...the interior was used as an art gallery showing off the works of local artists and the exterior was used as a "living catalog" for their wholesale bulb business. So wonderful to see the beautiful woodwork and stained glass on the interior of the home and the grounds were beautiful, laden with so many blooms! I'll be posting more shots over the next couple of days for sure.
Get a load of these tulips!

Hubby was contacted by the Ride for Dads motorcycle charity run to speak at their Media blitz. They are a huge advocate for research, detection and treatment of prostate cancer.
He is an Honorary Ride Captain this year, and will ride (as a passenger) on the June 2nd ride. His urologist's nurse said I can ride with her dad as well!!!! Yaaay!
All kinds of media were there yesterday, he was presented with a vest (to be exchanged for the correct size).
This year's donation was almost $102k for research and education!!!
We knew 2 people when we went, and left feeling that we met a bunch of new friends. He had a number of people come up and ask about his experience, and one man was just diagnosed a month ago. I spoke at length with a woman who's brother was diagnosed last week.
Thanks jasdip...found out just yesterday that my dear cousin has been diagnosed....

How about this for a dryer? Seen outside an apartment.

Our barn, which is full of cars, not cows!
Oh Susan, I love seeing pics of old barns often with restored cars inside!!! How lucky you are.
Birthday (last month) bouquet
Um. NOT cool blue. Still a viola, so ok! I love them all, from Duchesse deParme to those in your lawn, and everything in between.
The other one from its packet was a purple ;)
Jasdip, you must be so proud of your DH : ) My Dad had prostate cancer, stage 3 with some spread to lymph nodes, survivor. Tell your hubby he's got an admirer here on GW. BTW, DH and I are retired from riding, but gosh, I miss it!
These poor shrubs are by my brush pile, never been watered or anything in 20 years. Still so beautiful.
It's springtime at our place in the mountains, the wild violets are blooming in our stone driveway.
