My teenage daughter doesn't really like sandwiches for her school lunch. For something different, I'd like to make her a cold pasta salad that contains NO MAYONNAISE. Does anyone have a delicious recipe? Also, wraps would be good! Thanks!

I got this recipe some time ago and I seem to have misplaced it. This recipe had you make a sugar and water syrup which you boiled and then mixed with mayo. Also in the salad was cubed ham and dill weed. There may have been cheese as well, but

Just tried 'spring pasta salad' from HyVee Food Store and it was awesome. Salad contains shell pasta, celery, peppers, carrots, and cucumbers, all cut in 1 inch chunks! Now I'm trying to figure out the creamy sauce that covers above ingredients.
