| Hello,
I'm looking to add cabinets to my Garage with a small workshop area.. The wall in mind is 9' Length, 10' High my plan: 8' Tall x 24"w x 24" deep then base cab 35"H x 24"w x24"d then 3' open with top only then 35" 24x24 uppers will consist of 3 cabinets roughly 32" H x 28" W x 16" D I'm wondering if it is cheaper to make these myself using 3/4"MDF for Boxes and 5/8" mdf doors... or How much do you think it would cost if I had bought them from a company and had them installed? |

| You might try looking at some recycling outfits like Habitat for Humanity has. |

| IMHO, MDF for garage cabs is a bad idea----that material absorbs moisture too readily. Plus it's ability to support loads is quite low---24" MDF bookcase shelves sag soon after being put into service. Look at the HfH Restores and cabinet shops---also used furniture places. |
