70+ year old pine door

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, so feel free to redirect me!

We are building a new home and my pantry door is from the home that my great-grandparents built. My kitchen cabinets are red oak and will have an autumn stain with an ebony glaze (dark red-brown). The pine door has a dark brown stain. The top half of the door is etched glass.

My question is: Should I have the door stripped and refinished to match my cabinets? Or just have it restored and cleaned? I'm a little nervous about the glass being removed. Is that necessary?

Thank you for any suggestions or ideas.
