where can I find oak beadboard?

Posted by melissastar (My Page) on

For some reason my contractor seems to think this is hard to come by...he says all he can find is plywood panels with a thin oak beaded "veneer" on top.

I'm willing to go for a good quality, good looking panel if the savings is enough, but I simply can't believe that tongue and groove beadboard isn't available in stainable oak. Anyone got a clue?
