| Can I 'touch up' my oak floors without having to do the entire room? I was thinking of trying to hand sand a few small areas and put a coat of poly over.
I don't want to redo my entire living-room due to a few stains. Thanks,

| I doubt it. Poly is very difficult to 'touch up' as it does not 'feather'---blend together. And floor poly---much different from regular poly----needs 3 coats to provide lasting protection. |

| Thank you. That is so depressing. We just can't afford to do this entire space. This area is one, large great-room and is the entire first floor. I'm not sure what to do. Jane |
