| It is time to be thinking about making that special heirloom for youngsters for the upcoming holiday. If you have one about the age of 2, a rocking horse or other hand-made rocker is something to consider.
Several years ago I built ones for our grandchildren, now 8 and 5. They have been ridden many miles and both remain in their bedrooms. A variety of plans are available at your local woodworker store or on-line. Many only require basic woodworking equipment and skill - just care. Photos or mine are linked from "My Page". |
