Our contractor did a great job of roughing in ducts, beams, etc in our new downstairs master bed and bath.

However - now what standard do we use for putting up the crown? Does it ONLY go against true ceiling and not along the duct that is 12" lower along an entire wall?

With a beam in the middle of the room - does is follow the beam or just stay against the ceiling? Nothing seems to look right - HELP!!!
