I'm trying to find a door that matches the other interior doors in the house. This new door will be close to several other doors, so it needs to match. These other doors were common around here (East Tennessee), but the lumber yard went out of business, so I can't call them. I've searched the web and asked the lumberyards/hardware stores/distributors (with photos), so far to no avail. So now I want to search again using the appropriate terminology. Alternatively, does anyone know who made or still makes these doors? Thank you for any help.

| Handimac, thanks for the info. One of the searches indicated the sticking was "quarter bead". But what about the panel slope (term?)? It's not really square is it, since it doesn't have a step? Nor does the panel have any curves. I'm only parroting terms I've read, haven't a clue what else to call this stuff. |

| At a lumberyard they can show you exactly what your looking for. The door is a standard 6 panel pine door that all millwork distributors would have in stock. The lockset is a Georgian in Antique Brass also available at a quality lumberyard. |

| There are several ways to build raised paled cabinet doors. Shops and advanced DIYers often use a router or shaper to mill the various pieces. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FR0BiP96Po Here is a 10 minute tutorial to show how a DIYer might do it. You will need to copy the URL and past it in the browser window. http://www.trustile.com/options/profiles.asp?cid=379 this one lists some profiles. Names might be specific to that manufacturer. |

| That's the bog-standard beaded sticking profile. The panel has a chamfer raise profile. Should not have any problem finding it; they are default choices. Casey |
