Hanging a Dart Board

Posted by mcarren (My Page) on

I would like to hang a Bristle Dart Board, but want to protect my walls from errant darts. Are there any suggestions for frames etc. that I can hang the board in. I really don't want to cover the wall in cork.

Thanks

Make a backboard using a sheet of plywood cut to whatever size works best for your area.

A sheet of old style Homosote is easier on your dart points.

Yup, I used homasote too. I first wrapped the homasote in fabric, then I hung it on the wall. The dart board I've had for (gulp) 30 years, I've had it on the homasote backer for the past 12 years of play.
