Messed up wood stain (Pic)

I used a Miniwax wood stain, left it on about 15 to 20 minutes. Apparently I should have rubbed a bit harder as the top has a sheen to it. Can I correct this without having to strip off the stain and resand the top? I got better as I went along, the rest of the cabinet looks pretty good for a novice.
