| Hi - I have a pine rocking chair that I would like to be able to put out on my porch. What product would I buy to waterproof it so this indoor chair can become an outdoor chair. Thanks for your help. |

| There are no finish products of which I know that will do that long term. Pine is such a soft wood and expands/contracts so much that paint is about the only finish that will last any time at all. But paint on pine furniture eventually cracks and lets in weather. Stripping and repainting is the only sure cure. That may have to be done every year or two. |
