Help with door veneer please

We received these walnut doors for our new house. They seem to have used a poor quality of veneer for the flat panels. As you can see there is a huge variety of colors within each door. I also hate the way each panel is a repeated pattern of the same slice of wood over and over. My questions are--

-shouldnt veneer like this have a random pattern in the pieces, so it is not this repeat of the same piece over and over? It looks so unnatural this way.
-is this flat sawn or rotary cut veneer?
-some of the seams between veneer pieces are separating already. Is this a sign that more seams are going to do this as the doors acclimate to the house?
-is this problem just a matter of the manufacturer using low quality veneer? So if they would try to fix it, it would be a matter of using higher quality? Or is it an overall workmanship problem that probably can't be remedied?
