 o
using a gloss ploy over a satin polyshade?

I'm making a corn hole toss game. I bought a honey pine colored ployshade and did not realize that it was a satin finish until after I put the first coat on. I would like it to be a gloss finish not a satin. It is dark enough as it is with the first coat. Can I use a gloss finish polyurethane over a satin polyshade? It will be kept indoors when not in use.

Thanks

Rose

The final coat, and the treatment of it (e.g., rubbing) determines the sheen. You can certainly go gloss over satin or vice-versa.
