| We have a lovely Amish built toy barn made of birch plywood with a stain and clear coat of varnish. We were thinking of painting the outside dark red, leaving the roof, door, trim and interior natural. Is it possible to do with without it coming out looking horrible? If so, what kind of paint should we use? Thanks in advance for your thoughts. |

| Scuff the varnish where you would like to paint with 150-180 grit sandpaper. Clean all dust off (vacuum/wet rag or sponge.) After that you should have no problem painting with any type paint and color of your choice. |
