 o
what brand of stud finder?

I am in the market for a stud finder for DH. We have had several and none seem to work that great or last. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good stud find?
Thanks!

Amazon.com sells a lot of tools and has user reviews. Check there.

I have had a black and decker stud finder for a little over a decade now and that little thing shows no signs of giving out now

the cheapest one I have found is located on the end of your hand.
You simply use 1 digit( I perfer my middle digit) to tap the wall, you will notice a difference in the sound when tapping on a stud.

I also occasionally use my 22OZ Estwing if walls havent been painted yet.

I have a Stanley that works just fine, even on plaster. The "finger method" works best on drywall.
