Chain link fencing is both effective and reasonably priced, but not the prettiest and doesn't block the view (although shrubs and vines can fix that). Often if you go right to the dealer where they sell the fencing, you can ask for any of their used fencing, top rails, and gates and it is usually a way better price. If you have time you can be picky and take only what you like, and visit multiple times till you have all that you need. Good luck!
