I'm searching for a wood wind spinner pattern for my husband. I've searched the internet and can't seem to locate one. We've built several "failures"... Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the response but no, not whirligigs. I'm looking for the wind spinners that are made from slats of wood in which each slat is pushed forward just a bit to form a long curve like a helix. I can find the spinners for sale but can't find a pattern.
