Best glue and finish for custom mahogany door

i am constructing an elegant arched entry door with side lites for our new home. looking for info on the best exterior glue and finish for this. thanx in advance for your comments.

Titebond 3 for the glue.

Many opinions on the best finish will differ. There is an article that is often referenced on this forum about this. I think "Bob's Nephew" has linked it on previous posts. Basically the article concludes the best clear exterior wood finish is untinted oil-based paint. I think Olympic oil-based deep tint base #4 is the product tested. Hopefully someone will post the article again so we all can read it.

I believe Olympic goes 1,2,3,5 (no 4). But the concept is correct.
