| I need to find a finish carpenter to do the molding above my kitchen cabinets. Can anyone give me any idea how I go about doing this? |

| Have any friends who have had finish carpentry done? Any new houses in your neighborhood being built and in the finish carpentry stage? Look in the yellow pages and pick by length of time in business. |

| Look in Finland? (sorry, I couldn't resist) When selecting someone make sure you get a reference, and actually contact that reference, and even try to see the work before you hire them. There are lots of handymen-type outfits or general carpentry people that claim to be able to do finish carpentry, and many of them just aren't very good at it. |
