Reface Kitchen Cabinets

Posted by dancingqueen (My Page) on

I have 23 year old solid oak kitchen cabinets - a lot of them. I'd like to have them refaced and new doors and drawer fronts put on. Can a quality job be done or are they all questionable? I saw a project Sears had done and it was terrible. TIA.

RE: Reface Kitchen Cabinets

Sure, it can be done well by experienced people. Beware of farmed out jobs like what Sears/Home Depot/Lowe's/etc. do.

Find a company that does just that kind of work and look at their track record. Plus, get a customer list and actually pick several to talk to about the way the jobs turned out.
