| Hi, I am in the process of building an outdoor storage shed for the garbage pails. I still need to build the doors for the front and paint it. The top is 65" wide by 34" deep and weighs approx 25 lbs. I was looking for shocks to attach on the inside to assist with lifting the lid, stay open while putting garbage in the pails and then closing without slamming shut. Any suggestions without breaking the bank on this one? Thanks in advance! |

| The link shows a bunch of hardware. I know nothing about the company selling the stuff, it just happened to show up in the search. The other option is a automotive hood or hatch strut. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Lid Supports
