plans to build a base hutch cabinet with pull out tray for laptop

I have been searching, without luck, for plans to build a base cabinet/hutch with a pull out tray to place my laptop computer on. I also need shelving and storage for my cd layer/radio and tape player etc.

the area is a corner with a window and baseboard in one wall and a solid wall that is only 40" wide.
I'd like suggestions of pieces already built or I can get my DH to build. He is a pretty good craftsman and I know he could build a beautiful piece, if I got him the plans...
Thank you...

With few exceptions (reproduction furniture or furniture to standard dimensions such as chairs), most project plans serve only as idea generators. Especially so when you have critical dimensions such as 40" wide. I'd look around for ideas and sketch up something that incorporated the desired features. First thing to decide is to determine if you want a straight unit or a corner unit.
