Is it possible to make an integrated panel for any dishwasher? Having kitchen island totally rebuilt by Amish craftsman....DW is in the island, and we are reusing current DW-its a white Bosch. Before I ask him to do this, thought I would find out if its a possibitly first! :) He tried to convince me that there was not room under sink for trash pullout-he had never seen the single sink with offset right-rear drain. But what a craftsman! Does gorgeous work! Thank you!

Having a wood panel is asking for a huge headache. A wood panel that size and that thin will warp simply from the moisture/temp range in a normal kitchen. Plastic panels are available.

In any case the springs in the door must be able to deal with the added weight of the wood panel. If it is a 3/16" plywood skin, no big deal; if a solid wood raised panel and drawer front, you must use a specialized panel-ready DW. Casey
