Hi,
Some guys put up molding for me, and they are no longer available to ask. So, what type of wood is this? Thank you!

The grain resembles pine, Not big box home center pine but that available where cabinet and furniture wood is sold, Pine is usualy clasified as softwood but this type is graded as hardwood,

    I'd say it's radiata pine.

    My vote's for sugar pine.

But I don't do a lot of work in any sort of pine any more.

I would tend to agree with bobsmyuncle. Radiata pine would generally have a more wild grain similar to a SYP.

Looks exactly like the "clear pine" sold at my local Home Depot.
