Need help with ideas on projects on using old wooden blinds

Posted by marchduckie (My Page) on

Hello,

I'm thinking of changing out all the (faux?) wooden blinds in my home and was wondering, what can I do with them afterward? I'd hate to throw them out or give all of them away without utilizing some of them in some creative way. If you have any ideas or sites I could peruse, it would be a great help. Thanks!

If they're not wood, I'd toss 'em. Or donate them.

If they're wood, there are things to do with the slats, but it would depend upon their width and length. Where are the holes for the strings?

I hope they're wood! :)
I might bead board the back of a cabinet or something.
