We have found a new oven and I believe it might work. We have 240v on 10-3 wire with 30 amp breakers. The new oven specs are; total connected load: 6.8KW @ 240v, amp rating at 240v-30amp. Will this work?? Thanks for the help to anyone that answers.

Yes, assuming that it's copper wire, everything should be fine. 6.8kw converts to 28.3A.

You will want to check the oven's installation instructions to make sure that a 30 amp breaker / circuit is called for.

"Yes, assuming that it's copper wire, everything should be fine. 6.8kw converts to 28.3A." Except that would load a 30 amp circuit to over 94%. It might be acceptable if the installation instructions call for a 30 amp circuit, otherwise you may need a little more.
