replacing ceiling light

I plan to replace a flush mount ceiling light (and box) with a recessed light. I don't want to do any drywall repairs. I will remove the existing light and it's electrical box. The leftover drywall hole will be enlarged to fit the recessed light, but this means the recessed can will be very close to the rafter. Is there any issues with installing a can so close to the rafter? BTW, I plan to use recessed light approved for direct contact with insulation. Thank you.
