I used to frequent here quite a bit a few years back. I wish I had more panels and electrical work to do around here, I miss the company on this board.
Back then I was advised that Hubbell used to make some receptacles So Darn Good that other companies started copying the model # of them... four numbers? starts with a 5? I wired my whole house with them. I've got a few more receptacles I am ready to address now. I would like to buy some more of these Ferrari like Receptacles but I cannot remember that number. (And dont really want to pull one.) Thanks for any guidance. Mike in Alaska |

| It probably was a 5252 with a letter suffix to indicate color. Like a 5252I for ivory. |

| If you are on the 2008 NEC any new receptacles will need to be the tamper resistant variety. |

| Hi, thanks! Good stuff. I didn't know USA was transitioning to tamper resistant receptacles. Thank you both. |
