Replacing receptacles

I am replacing all my receptacles with new designer style ones. Some of the existing receptacles are the old, two prong type with no ground wire.

What is the code approved way to install a receptacle with a ground to an old two wire receptacle with no ground. If there is no approved way to do this, then how do you prevent a grounded plug from being used here. Is there some way you can close the hole for ground ?

You will need to add GFI protection to the circuit. You can either install a GFI receptacle as the first one on the circuit, or fit a GFI breaker to the panel.

Any receptacles that have ground slots but are NOT grounded are to be clearly marked "GFI Protected - No Equipment Ground." Your GFI receptacle should come with stickers for this purpose. If not, you can make up some Brother P-Touch labels or something similar.
