I have an old Aqua Systems 9000 softener. It shares a circuit with some other stuff and I need to assure its within the circuits limit (20A).
It says it needs "3W" on the back label. Is that correct?

How much power does a typical softener (or specifically mine) consume when it is regenerating?

I assume the 3 watts is just the power consumed by the manual dial.
