Help before i go absolutely CRAZY!!! Pics...

I'm trying to install a chandalier in my entry. Now i know the smart thing to do would have been to mark the wires when taking down the old one but since i wasn't the one who took it down that wasn't done.

It is a turned on by a switch at the entry and or a switch at the top of the stairs. So i guess that's a three way swith.

Anyway i can't seem to get it to work with the switches only the breaker!

Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong??

A guess would be to use the whites and the red for the fixture. Splice the blacks together. This is just a guess.

Without knowing exactly what wires are in both switch boxes it is impossible to say.

K that didn't work. The only way i can get the light to be on at all is with the wires attached the way they show in the picture but it won't work with the switches. Here are a picture of the wires on the switches, maybe this will help??

Did you connect one wire from the fixture to BOTH whites in the box, the other from the fixture to the red, and splice the two blacks together?
