| I am needing a 50 amp circuit for my new Jaccuzzi spa. I have read that I need to use 6 guage wire for this. Problem is the length of the run for my yard. Over what length can I run the 6 guage before it is too small of a guage? I had a similar situation with my low voltage lighting in the backyard. I was about 200 ft. total and was told to use heavier guage for the first half of the run. My run for the hot tub will be about 150 l.f. |

| Number six should be fine for 150' at a nominal 40A load. |
