I want to install a ceiling medallion in my foyer and my chandelier's hollow threaded nipple will now not be long enough, the medallion is 2.5" thick. I haven't had luck at lowes/home depot/supply stores/lamp repair shops. They say the threaded nipple is metric. I asked the site where I bough the item from and they couldn't get me a longer piece or even the info on the item. I've asked the manufacturer but haven't gotten a response yet. The chandelier is 150lb and I want to buy the right part. Anyone got any Idea where I'd be able to maybe buy a few and see if any work?
