Any idea why my outlet suddenly doesn't work anymore. Here's a picture:

Ah, as we used to say, one of those liquid cooled power outlets. At least it won't overheat and catch fire.

Obviously you didn't use THWN wiring for wet locations. You should always check here first when selecting wiring....
