Your description leads me to doubt that these will pass inspection for the latest NEC. With the power supply entering at the light fixture, it requires 4 conductors from the light location to the switch location to operate plus have the (now) required neutral at the switch location.
And you state one case with just 2 conductors between the switch and the light location. That cannot possibly function as a 3-way hookup.

That's your neutral at the switch, if you ever need it it is there.
The rest sounds fine.

Bus_driver: Here is a pic I found that shows how he did it as my words might not describe properly. He is a current electrician so hopefully he knows.

The circuit where he only ran the 2 wire from the light down to the light fixture was garage so no dimmer or anything.

THe other two circuits are inside the house so we could use dimmers there so the reason why he ran 14/3 then I am assuming. So, I should just wire nut the neutral for those?

As shown in the graphic you posted, neither switch location has a neutral.

So, two questions:

- for the circuits with the 3 wire going to switch, do I just wirenut the neutral since it isn't being used?

- for the circuit with the 2 wire going to switch, you're saying that is against code and it has to have the 3 wire?

Neutrals to the switch depend on what code cycle the op is on.
