110v vs. 120v for dishwasher install

Trying to install a Miele dishwasher. Manual says to hook up to 120v, but we only have a 110v grounded plug.
Will this work?
Lastly, our other dishwasher was hard wired into the house, so had to cut off the power cord and abandon the line. It had it's own breaker to it. The outlet that will be used only has the disposal connected to it.
Will this work??
Thank you so much for your help as we thought this would
be an easy DW install. NOT!

Does the new DW have the typical plug-in? If so, it can just be plugged into the same outlet as the garbage disposal. The only problem is it might overload the circuit. You will need to do some homework to determine if just the garbage disposal is powered by this circuit or if there are other items. Or you can install a junction box with a single receptacle for the DW, and you would still have a dedicated circuit for the DW.

Completely agree with AZ. I'll only add that 120v and 110v are the SAME thing. Actually you DO have 120v. Nominal voltage for most residences in the US is 120/240v.

Thank you. Yes, the Miele has the typical 3 pronged plug. Luckily. Any idea how the circuit would be overloaded? Do I ck the breaker panel for my homework assignment? Is a junction box doable since I'm in a manufactured home?? I love most things, but not when it comes to electrical needs as we are so very limited! ugh... Oh well.

The circuit would be overloaded if all the electrical devices on it were running and the total amps they were drawing exceeded the circuit breaker rating. To determine this, you need to know everything that is connected to the circuit and add the amps together...or, if the breaker blows, you also know. One other question. Regarding the abandoned line, did you just cut off the cord and leave the raw end in place? If so, that's not a permissible code situation, even if it's taped or wire-nutted, and even if the breaker is turned off. All cables or cords need to be terminated inside an electrical box. If you're not experienced in how to do that, get professional help.

Only the disposal is on the circuit. The wires were separated and wire nutted off. Do you mean inside the breaker box? There is no electrical box since it was hardwired into the wall during construction and is drywalled over. What can be done about that?? THanks.
