Romex cable and temporary exposure to sunlight

Hi,

We're having our house remodeled. Had to tear off the stucco on one wall to add a shear wall (we're in earthquake country) and the old (and some new) electrical wiring is exposed.

*** I was wondering if a 1-2 month exposure to sunlight / ultraviolet (UV) is of concern for the Romex insulation? **

It's been that way for about a month, and possibly one more month. The wall faces east. No rain during that time and no worries about it for now (summer months in San Francisco area)

I wouldn't think that it would be a problem for that short of a time, but wanted to make sure. We could cover it, but it's kind of a hassle.

Thanks,

MM
