Hi,

I have a outdoor craftmade ceiling fan. I bought a light kit. I opened the decorative cover, and saw a white and black wire, which matched the white and black wire on the light. How easy I thought, but it doesn't work. I have tried a few working bulbs to rule that out. Above the paper divider are a lot of wires. some coming from the switch(with chain), some from the fan motor above, and there are 2 small black boxes which some come from. I assumed they where for the wall switch? But there is only one wall switch. (did the house builder hide another in the wall?)

is it too variable to tell me which wires to connect?
