Was reading the posts on an ex1000. I also own one. I was using it one day and suddenly the motor started lugging like it was over loaded. I am getting 25.+ volts at the receptacles.
Unplug the wire from condenser or capacitor and the engine rpms come back to normal. Cross the terminals on the condenser after it is unhooked and you get a hot arc. There is no honda repair tech in my area. if the armature is bad it would cost to much for repair anyway. thanks in advance
