| I have a 1950's cutler-hammer panel that needs to be
replaced and/or a sub installed. Looking for recommendations to a good electrican for the job. I am in the sacramento area. Many thanks |

| Such recommendations are typically not made in forums like this, as it could be considered advertising. Your best bet is to speak to friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers, etc. And, always get at least 3 estimates for the job. You may find a big variation. In some states, you can verify licensing information online. And, ALWAYS verify the contractor's insurance by getting a copy of the binder and calling the insurer. If they say they're insured but really aren't, and they get hurt or cause damage while working on your property, guess who is on the hook? |
