| Buying a GE Single Oven (ZEK938SM) Specs state:
KW Rating (240V) <= 4.8 recommend (dedicated) 20 Amp circuit size. The rating of the oven is 3.4 Do I need a 2-pole 20 amp breaker? What size wire would I need? (12-3)? Instructions say to hard wire and not use receptacle. If my thinking is correct, I have confidence in completing this. Also is a Four-Conductor Branch Circuit Connection the same as 12-3 NM? thanks! |

| Yes on the breaker question. If they say four conductor branch circuit then yes 12-3 would be appropriate. (The cable doesn't count the ground in the -3 which would be the fourth conductor). |
