| I have a Kohler 11RMY-QS2 and the throttle butterfly stays shut and the unit will not start. If the butterfly is held open it will start and run fine but the plunger is constantly pushing to close the butterfly. The electronic ignition board has been replaced with no different outcome. What is causing the butterfly to stay open?

| I'd suspect a faulty pneumatic actuator or vaccuum line leak or clog is calling for the valve to stay closed. Not finding that, I'd contact the manufacurer or closest dealer. |
