| Wiring disconnected in the junction box before the timer for an inground pool pump. One white wire, one black wire, one ground come from supply. A black wire and a red wire go to the timer for the pump. Do you hook up black to black and white to red? |

| Check your breaker in the main circuit panel. If you have a double breaker with black on one and white on the other, then yes. |

| Something is illegal in this situation if only the wire markings. I suggest you have someone who can figure out what is really happening look at things. |
